CCAM GOOD NEWS!
Our baby's CCAM of the lung is exactly the same size it was at the previous ultrasound. This is GREAT news! We found this out at our last ultrasound on Wed. February 17th. The most encouraging thing to me was that our doctor was excited for us. She told us she was really happy about the results of this ultrasound. We learned that CCAMs tend to stabilize in size after 32 weeks, but it is a very good sign that it hasn't grown thus far. My next ultrasound is in 3 weeks from the last, instead of the 2 weeks that was previously prescribed. The ultrasound on Feb. 17th showed our daughter not only kicking and playing with her toes, but her toes tickling her forehead! That's right folks, she was folded in half with her feet at her forehead! Amazing. We are so thankful for this good news. Proof once again of the divine guidance and protection our daughter has in her life. We can't control what happens but we can have faith that God will do great things for her. Little miracles every day. Like today: I found out we won't have to pay anything extra for our medical care at the UW! Before my insurance had told me we'd have to pay 20% co-insurance for anything out-of-network, which is the UW. Can you imagine how much that could add up to, especially if I end up delivering there?! Because my in-network insurance doesn't provide the specialist I need, my insurance company pays the difference for the out-of-network care. We will only need to pay in-network costs! Yippee! Little miracles, Big miracles, BIG MIRACLES.
